KVM Technology Mitigates Mouse Synchronization Issues
When working with digital or IP-based KVM switches, the problem of mouse synchronization is often a major concern for IT administrators. Latency issues are the culprit in which the local and remote mouse movements need to move in unison.
To combat this issue, many KVM manufacturers have developed technologies that automatically synchronize the local and remote mouse movements for perfect alignment of mouse pointers – regardless of server mouse acceleration settings.
With mouse synchronization, installation time is greatly reduced and there is no need to constantly re-sync the mouse. This technology also reduces latency which is the tedious delay of keystrokes and mouse movements to catch up with user commands.
